Currently still only playing vinyl, but slowly adapting to CDs. My gear 2 x technics SL-1200 MK5 Vestax PCV 275 mixer I started DJ back in 2003 but only in the bedroom, my main styles were trance, hard trance and hard house. I didn’t really have any opportunity to break out in to the scene as my main priority was my career. But after 3 years I met Ali Storm and Bryce Leigh who established their own event promotion called Envy. I was to be one of the 5 initial resident DJ's. I played at the first 3 Envy Events at Safari Lounge, Ponsonby Auckland. Envy was put on hold after these 3 events. Not long after Envy was established, Shaun Kay, also an Envy resident, established his own event promotion "Drop the Bass" the birth of this event was in Auckland but now resides in London. The envy crew, including myself, played at this event. Since then I have only really used open deck nights as chances to play out. Mesh bar in Takapuna invited me to play at the "Best of Fresh" for being a regular DJ for the open deck nights.
