RACHAEL E.C (Ghetto Dub / Ghetto Blast) DJ & Producer FOR BOOKINGS : djrachaelec@yahoo.co.uk / ghettodub@gmx.com Jungle D&B DJ . Joint owner / founder of GHETTO DUB; Drum & Bass / Jungle / Old Skool Rachael EC began her DJ career in 1996 when she lived in Portsmouth. She started out playing D&B in small clubs and free parties in the area. She later held a two-year residency at Kingsly, in Westward Ho! (Devon). Fast Forward to 2011 and Rachael entered a Fantazia DJ competition, which she won. This earned her a slot there and would lead to many more slots, not only at Fantazia but also Dreamscape, Fusion and Ruffneck Ting to name just a few. In 2014 Rachael teamed up with Vinyl Junkie and together they set up the label Ghetto Dub, which kickstarted her ventures in the world of music production. At present she has two releases under her belt, a track called Cut It Loose, which she made with Vinyl Junkie and another called Fade Away, also with Vinyl Junkie which features David Boomah on vocals. This was released on the mighty ASBO imprint. Look out for lots more releases coming soon. Rach has been super busy the last couple of years having played at many a festival including a prime-time slot on Saturday night in the Temple at Glastonbury festival, which she absolutely smashed, as well as plenty of high profile club nights. Rachael E.C plays the full spectrum of D&B and Jungle and she really knows how to throw down!
