Randy Dawit
He started spinning records since he was 5 years old, yes that’s correct at an age of 5 years!! Together with his neighbour they spinned 7’ inch singles at the hyper modern turntables of that time without any pitch control.
Since he became 17 years of age he became entangled in the world of house music, at that time the so-called Harcore (Gabber house). He visited numerous house parties like Hellraiser, Hellbound, Ghosttown etc. Due to these visits and his addiction to the music Randy started spinning records himself again. He performed at several (mainly illegal organized) house parties but he had also gigs at various clubs in Haarlem and surroundings and even Spain (Llorett de Mar).
After this period he went smoothly into the flow of Techno house music due to the contemporary world famous Awakenings techno parties. He changed his style accordingly and had gigs at numerous parties.
Due to various reasons, it was silent around him for a long time. This changed approximately two years ago in 2008. Randy decided to invest in new DJ equipment and started spinning again. First, to gain experience with the new DJ equipment and the different techno styles, but soon afterwards he organized and played at various parties.
