DJ Scottie Soul moved to Maui in 1992. After playing for years with Galaxy 2000 crew in Maui at all the outdoor parties, Scottie started playing outside of Hawaii including playing in San Francisco in 1996 at the Stompy parties, the Top, the End Up, for M3 and the Green Gorilla parties and the Stud with Spun.

Scottie got the bug to play around the world bumping his unique style he acquired from playing with amazing talent such as Mark Farina, John Howard, Miles Maeda, Spun and the legendary Harry Who.

Scottie helped run Oahu and Waikiki from 1998 – 2004. Immediately gaining residencies at The Wave Waikiki, Kids Klub, the W Hotel, The Maze and a Radio show on 105.9 KAHA. At the same time Mr. Soul started DJing in Japan and began playing at legendary LOOP club, Velfarre, and Womb. Scottie then played for the Millineum party with Carl Cox in Waikiki for 20,000 people.

He now makes records under either Scottie Soul, Pelvis, or with his friend Tao as The Bearded Clams. You can pick up his new EP “Personal Thang” this summer with remixes by Jon Lee (Tilted Records – Seattle) and Gil Aguilar (Treasured Grooves).
