Heads up: A mix for a "dyed in the wool" Sir Elton John fan.
I have been an ardent Elton John fan since my childhood. The very first cassette I purchased for my brand new walkman (GE knock-off) was Elton John's Greatest Hits Vol. II. I listened to that cassette tape over and over again for the longest time, oddly enough while I was reading The Hobbit as a sophomore in high school. Every time I hear "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word", "Levon", or "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" I picture, in my mind, little hairy-footed Hobbits or the Elf King. Welcome to my own little twisted world. :-)
Elton John's music has influenced my life more than he will ever know, and his music has been my steady anchor in turbulent seas. Thus, it is no coincidence that my vocal range falls more in line with his repertoire than any other artists collected works, thanks to entrainment. I, therefore, introduce my tribute to Sir Elton John in a form most suitable to this forum, a music mix. Discovering the dearth of Elton John remixes has inspired me to learn how to remix my own songs. I did find enough remixes to create a small collection (Thank you Junior Vasquez!). Perhaps my musical/technical talents will grow enough over time to achieve that dream.

P.S. - I was thrilled with the Moulin Rouge rendition of Your Song. The film provided a stage to demonstrate how his songs can be used to accurately portray the most powerful of human emotions...in this case, love.

I switched tracks 3 and 4 because there was a key conflict between Your Song (Cm) and Tiny Dancer (F#m). Original Sin is in A#m, so it blends with Your Song more smoothly.
