I finally got COVID-19 and tested positive on Thursday. I feel like crap to be honest, shivery and cold one minute, sweating my head off the next. I feel like I've had a kicking from hell. My throat feels like its bleeding and my chest was so intensely painful last night, it was unbearable but then i started coughing up all sorts and a lot of it too and now feels more settled. Whether or not i have a repeat of that tonight remains to be seen. Thank god I'm fully jabbed and I'm only playing with Omicron, if I'd not been vaccinated and this was the original Delta variant, I've no doubt I'd have been in hospital by now and then i don't want to imagine past that. In so many ways I'm lucky but equally this isn't great and my symptoms are pretty horrendous constantly. If you haven't got vaccinated, you will wish you did trust me. I lasted 2 years of being incredibly safe and maybe the fact i have COPD makes this so much more worse for me i don't know but I've got it and I'm sure i will survive, but nice this certainly isn't and is a really rough ride at times
