Hey mate unfortunately i39m not really well connected in the industry i don39t play out in clubs so I wouldn39t be really much help to you in that respect. I will give you one piece of advice though....if this is something you want to do and make a career out of then I strongly recommend you get into writing and producing your own material as quickly as possible. Its the only way in nowadays you could send out a million different mixes to a million different places and the end result will always be the same. The important thing to remember is promoters really do not care about how good you are how good your mixing is or even what kind of music you play. All they care about is making money if you can guarantee punters through the door spending money then they will book you every week. If you make a tune that blows up and dj39s are hammering it eventually people are going to want to come and see you play and you start looking a lot more attractive to promoters then I will of course get round to listening to your other mixes mate and let you know what I think Good luck brutha...peace out
Club scene in manchester is ok mate a bit soft though. Its quite revered with sankeys and the ex warehouse project here but they never have any balls to up the energy a bit. You39d never get any of those techno artists that you hear on my sets playing in manchester. Its so frustrating because i39d be clubbing every we if they did Occasionally a good night will pop up and we39ll make the most of it but you generally do spend most of your time hoping an prayin for a big night somewhere. Detroit must be good man I hear the states is pretty much rockin all over the place
