A little trip down memory lane, taking you back to a time when Ibiza was Ibiza. Containing some of the most uplifting and euphoric trance tracks, from a time that I hold close to my heart.
Inspiration for this mix came about as I as sat watching a holiday destination programme on TV, with my two daughters 16 and 14 years old, Ibiza was one of the features. As we sat and watched the in and out of club shots, and listened to the music that was playing, I was quite shocked, none of it seemed familiar to me at all, and the music that was being played was some commercial generic rubbish. I then turned to my daughters, and said "This is not the Ibiza I remember". They both then replied with the usual, "Your just getting old dad" A discussion broke out about, what generation has the best music. I decided to give them a lesson in what good music was, and come up with this mix that contains tracks that defines what Ibiza was to me, The girls both agreed, that it was better. Job done.
