My favourite DJ's are in this order - Little Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Charlie Brown, Derrick May, Frankie Knuckles. I am the original old skool raver although I don't rave anymore unless in ibiza. I was raving in fields in 88-89 at sunrise, energy, back to the future, genesis, etc oh the fun we had! I use to then dance for ratpack back in 91 so went all overthe ;place raving with them guys and then I left them to set up my own promotion company and did huges raves which is another story and I ;should write a book but with two children under 4yrs it is not happening any time soon. I married a DJ (funny that) and now live in surrey and come into london when needed but while my nights away ironing and cleaning these days! ;lol. I would have to say that my favourite venue in the world is a toss up between amnesia when there was no roof and ;astoria, london and oh webster hall NYC.... i have to mention el divino in ibiza as i loved that terrace but sadly closed down now so gone but not forgetton..x
