i started dj'ing only about 8 months ago, learning from scratch on traktor pro 2 (which i still use today) with my trusty keyboard and mouse, starting with UK dubstep. of course, it was hard and mind-boggling to get round what the buttons do and how to correctly mix your tracks using the EQ rather than the fader, but now i've come to a point where i can actually mix. i'm still learning and no where near a professional, so any comments/feedback you leave would be much appreciated! at the moment, i'm now mixing deep dubstep (the likes of skream, kryptic minds, headhunter, icicle...) and acid/deep house (addison groove, mickey pearce, roska...) i only have a small setup which is pretty ideal for me right now, a korg nano kontroller 100% mapped to traktor scratch pro 2! the only downside for me at the moment using this setup, is the lack of a headphones port (obviously as it's only a midi controller) so i have to mix very accurately before dropping a new track in! but if anything i think this helps me with keeping timing easier and listening out for the next tracks beat.
