dj Mick Hale is a resident DJ at the "Swell" Pop-up-niteclub - in hip, reinvigorated downtown Asbury Park. Hale also does a web-radio show (called "The Weekend MIX-Up!" for BlowUpRadio.com (who broadcasts on Live365.) Since the mid 80's Mick has spun in & around the tri-state area, his longest residencies were at the "The Roxy," "The Melody" & "Oz" in New Brunswick, & "Ground Zero" in Hoboken, with spots at many other venues thru the 90s & 00s (Asbury Lanes, CBGB, The Colosseum, Maxwells, The Beach Bar, VuDu, Wonderbar (AP), Uve's, Ryans, The Station(Bkyln) & Conduit(Trenton,) to name a few.) Hale has also spun at many Garden State Equality fundraisers & events recently (in 2009, '10 & '11.)
