Back in the early 70s my father was a DJ at the first Black Owned radio station in Oklahoma KKUL or as it was known K-cool. Every Sunday afternoon he hosted a Jazz show and that was where I grew to appreciate the art form. I enjoy all the genres, but my favorite era was the big band and swing. The House music of its time.
