As such, Josh got his start DJing at a roller rink in high school and promptly became active in the post-rave embers of 2000. In 2005 from an outpost in northern Michigan, Josh founded the record label Blank Artists to promote independent music and design. Upon moving to Detroit in 2006, Josh completed an internship with the heralded techno institution Underground Resistance and their distribution arm, Submerge. In the wake of a brief stint as disc jockey on WDET’s HD2 The Avenue, Josh has continued to pursue music production and directorship for Blank Artists, which stands as a platform for emerging artists from Detroit and beyond.
