KG is unquestionably Australia’s most promising upcoming MC.
Born in South Africa and raised in Australia, KG discovered his passion and talent for music at a young age.
Performing, entertaining and teaching hip hop dance for Canberra youth dance school Kuture Break, KG’s path soon became clear to him and, with Young Shak, he formed acclaimed hip hop duo the Kash Boys.
Following his musical calling, KG moved to Melbourne and was privileged enough to meet RnB artist and producer Israel (Roadshow/Sony BMG), who produced the Kash Boys debut album ‘the birth.’
Now, KG is ready to explode as a solo artist, working hard in the studio to complete his much anticipated mixtape ‘In my thoughts.’ KG has been showcasing his solo skills at corporate events, club shows and cultural events all over Melbourne. Most recently, he has been the opening act for Jason Derulo and Bone Thugs n Harmony. KG has a huge amount of respect for the pioneers of the game and gets much inspiration for his own music from Jay Z, Nas, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Bone Thugs n Harmony and, of course, MJ and Usher have influenced his dance.
KG is far from generic, with his exquisite free styling skills, professional and energetic stage presence, ability to flow on beat and experience as a hip hop dancer making him an all rounded artist and a triple threat in the hip hop scene.
KG is part of the next generation of hip hop. Expect big things and keep your ears out for the catchy club banger and first single ‘everybody in the club' which is now available to download on iTunes.
