Omar Paraiso is a DJ, founder and host of the Deep House radio show and blog Soulful Living which is home to music and words that focus on the deeper side of soulful house music. The website is a platform for Omar to share his love for all things deep, soulful, and timeless and presents an eclectic mix of music that stems from broad sources of inspiration ranging from Jazz, Soul, Afro-Rhythms, Disco, and Detroit House. Within a short period of time, the show has been well received and has developed a global community of dedicated listeners and supporters and is syndicated on several worldwide internet radio stations. In addition to hosting the show, Omar is currently a resident at one of San Diego’s longest running House Music venues, Candelas Lounge, where he has been given the honor of playing alongside world renowned DJs and producers the likes of Mr. V, Will “Reelsoul” Rodriguez and Danny Krivit, and where he continues to bring the deeper sound to the forefront of the San Diego House scene through collaborations and guest DJ sets.
