Bio
Ivan Petrenka, an experienced DJ from Taganrog, began his journey in 1996 at a school disco, where he was invited due to his impressive music collection on cassettes. Since then, his music career has developed, and he became a resident DJ at his university's student club as well as the legendary disco bar "Nadya" in Taganrog. Inspired by John Digweed's radio show and Pete Tong's Essential Mix, Ivan developed his style by blending old-school classics with modern tracks.
In 2001, Ivan discovered DJ Mag, where he learned that John Digweed was ranked number 1, which became a key inspiration for his further development. This inspiration led him to England, where he sought to understand which clubs and DJs were setting trends in the music world. In London, he visited iconic clubs like Fabric and The End and also attended the Global Gathering festival, where many renowned DJs gathered.
In 2006, Ivan reached the finals of the Red Devil DJ Contest, which allowed him to attend master classes with legendary Russian DJs such as Groove and Fonarev, helping him refine his skills. After that, he became a resident at well-known venues, such as Depeche Mode Bar. In Moscow, he played at bars, cafes, and events of various scales, and later moved to Detroit, where he continued his career, becoming a resident at La Casa Cigars and Lounge and a guest at Mars Bar.
Ivan continues to develop his career, performing and organizing events, as well as hosting the "Elden Sound" podcast, where he shares new and classic tracks. He actively works on promoting high-quality and atmospheric music and is looking for like-minded people for collaborations.
