Euphoric : A Liquid DnB Session

An end of year mix in two parts, celebrating (among others) some of the best liquid DnB from 2013. This is part one.

Lots of excellent stuff to be had here, old and new, vocal and instrumental. Calibre rules the roost, though, with 3 of his remixes featured. His version of Submorphics’ "Organ Grinder" has to be my personal favourite from the entire mix. Legendary stuff. The man can do no wrong.

From the 2013 releases we have here the likes of Oliver Ferrer, Anile, Altitude and Midnight Request, not to mention the truly uplifting and summerific sound of "All My Love" by Boosta & Atmos T from the new Liquid V Club Sessions V release. Too many excellent tracks on there to mention - I urge you to check it out.

In the ‘oldies’ we have a couple of releases that make use of some true classics: the hauntingly beautiful “The Love She Needs” by Zero T & Logistics from 2010 (doing a grand job of sampling Jon Lucien’s wonderful “Rashida”) and the inspired sound of A Sides’ “Imagination” (sampling Minnie Riperton’s “Here We Go”), which was released on white label in 2008 - I don’t know about you but I think a revival of this track is needed! Also, we have from the same year Zinc & Makoto’s “Fade Away”, featuring the vocal talents of Katy B - just loving this bouncy feel-good track.
