Started DJ'ing in the mid 70's in Sydney Australia, moved to Surfers Paradise Queensland in the late 70's and worked at The Penthouse Nightclub until the late 90's. No longer an active DJ but now own and operate my own club in Surfers Paradise.

I have two Dennon HS5500 which is like having 4 turntables since you can play 2 tracks from the same player along with a DJM-600-K PIONEER MIXER. aahhh You don't want to know!!!! but mostly my own home made mixes specially done for the party I do. I like to do a "show" of what people have requested ahead of time so I like to make a mix or two with extra effects and get rid of all the boring intros and outros that sometimes seem they go forever. I am a paralegal in the day time. I have been working there for 16 years and I ;also do hair in the evenings. I ;love cutting hair and doing "Glamour" make up. ; Also, I ;dj on the weekends mainly for "fundraiser". I ;like to help people that are suffering from Alzheimers since my dad was just diagnosed with it, I also do it for people with Cancer and Aids by donating my time and money. My dad was a musician all his life so I have the music in me but as I was growing up I loved to hear really high energy disco, and then tribal, techno, rave but I now enjoy the diva house music with a touch of tribal touch.

La mia passione per la musica Dance e verso la professione di Dj è iniziata nel 1978. DJ REST è lo pseudonimo che usavo da ragazzo, e deriva dal fatto che negli anni 80 si registravano i dj set su cassette. Quando si volevano fare dei tagli si usava la "pausa" dei registratori a cassette e il sottoscritto la usava molto bene. Per non usare lo pseudonimo "PAUSE", usammo il corrispondente di PAUSA in Inglese: REST, da lì Dj Rest. Nell'indirizzo E-Mail è stato aggiunto From Sardinia perchè in giro per il mondo ci sono altri Dj Rest.
