Hey fellow ravers I'm a self confessed raver with a needy appetite for anything funky, fidgety or just plane hard.. Been involved with techno since 1994 when i first started attending underground raves in jhb.. The industry has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm sure that back then it wasn't expected to last this long. I'm always glad to see just how many successfull dj's there are here on house mixes and value all the effort that goes into producing these masterpieces !!!! Attempted mixing myself back in 96 - 97 but fate and lack of money and a "small stretch" in prison put an end to that. I'm just glad that there are more talented and excellent dj's popping up out there. Until I'm too old to walk I'm gonna stay on this genre of music. My other passion in music is completely the opposite !! I have had the great fortune to see Metallica, Panthera, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse and Red hot chillies live over the last 15 years which are all still part of me.... What a mix up... Suppose could blame it on all the acid and E over my 10years of addction... Clean now, married and happy - isn't that what its all about !!

After serving ten long hard years in the British army I managed to fall right into the middle of what was known as the underground rave scene in 1992.A very good friend of mine introduced me to Martin P who was running a very large drum and bass night at the( Rivermead Sports Centre) holding up to six thousand ravers in Reading. This production was called (Swing Big Time Promotions )held nights such as Red October One and Two hosting very big names such as DJ Carl Cox, Grooverider, MickyFinn, Sl2, Randall, Ltj Bookham etc - to be honest the list is to long to mention. I got to meet and speak with these gods and they inspired me to become a DJ . After mastering the tools required, I was signed to an agency who provide DJ’s for well-known outdoor events. The first production I was involved with was the fabulous (Universe Productions )who had hosted the many great outdoor rave scene involving up to twenty thousand people having the best time known to man dancing through to the end of the weekend every week. Universe then moved on up in the scene and founded in what I think was the best club night ever. And yes, not unless you have guessed, the Famous( Club UK )in Wandsworth, London. DJ’s were queuing to get into this Venue to play along side myself ,Trevor rockliffe, Gailsan, Brenda Russell, Colin Favour, Carl Cox, Mark EG, Colin Dale, Billy Nasty, Alien Trax ,(Paul Curtis and Max Amino) ,Lab 4, Pendragon (Beamish, oboren) . After the closure of (CLUB UK) (in fact the Police closed down!) I left to move to sunny Bournemouth to get involved in the club scene by the sea.Well what a shock! It wasn’t just London HAVING IT - it was every were I went! During my long stay in Bournemouth I was invited to host a two hour show on( KFM 106.7) which I did for a year, playing in most of the venues up to as far as the (country club )in Yeovil. During my long stay I had the pleasure working alongside Bob Povey, Si and Seth Sanjez, Martin the Hat, Chris Hare and Northern Roy, Mark EG, Billy Nasty, and Tony devits little haunt club(Sub bass vip.)After leaving Bournemouth I ended in north Devon playing for the very best (LEGENDS Productions), providing superb club nights in Bideford, Westward HO and Barnstable,And outdoor events especially the Eclipse moon party. I would like to thank all the DJ’s who played for( Legends )John OO Fleming, The Great Tony Devit, Billy Nasty, Mark EG, Chris Liberator and Trevor Rockliffe, and Lisa pin up. MASSIVE thanks to Paul, and Nigel, for Providing a massive scene for the west country. After leaving Devon I moved to Hampshire were I opened my own record shop with my son Adam aka Buzzbee.( Fat Boy records) , I had a very good time running the shop but still missed the hard paced life I had lived. The love of music has never died in me and now at the age of forty three I am learning the production side and making my own sounds so now this is a closure of an old venture into a new one   - the  rebirth of( FATBOYUK.)

Exit-Point
Exit-Point

Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham). This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

It all started back in 1990 with The Happy Mondays & Stone Roses. Rave was still underground & Illegal The sound was fresh. It all started when I listened to a mixtape a mate was listenin to he said have a listen to this. I soon started to search for pirate stations around my local area, MIX FM, FRESH FM (Leicester) & KOOL FM (Birmingham). Has I got more into the music I thought I would have a go at DJin so brought myself a pair of soundlab belt drives & a numark mixer & buy my vinyl from 5HQ. In 2009 I thought I would have a go at producin my own tracks.   UNDER CONTRUCTION

It all started when i was about 13 years old, my pal who was a few years older than me gave me a carrier bag full of tapes jammed with pirate radio station recordings and underground tuneidge.............id never heard anything like it and was blown away, always wanting to tune into pirate radio stations in my dads car stereo in the mid 1990's in my hometown 'Birmingham', 808 State, LFO, Sweet exorcist, carl cox, prodigy, to name a few .............. Music never stopped for me......................As i progressed from Acid......... to Hardcore........... to Drum and Bass.................Jungle............ to House, i soon realised i liked a lot of styles.   I got my first set of decks when i was about 14-15 years old, trust me they were a djs nighmare but fun along the way........i always looked at myself as a bedroom dj who just loved to mix...always dreaming of a set of 1210s................. i would crusie around in my car listening to my own mix tapes with my pals who soon got into the vibe too, before we new it we was jamming at house partys all the time just for the love of the music.........and Cruising around in our cars playing our own sets............we felt on top of the world.......................Music was our life............   As the years went by, i started a family and the mixing was put on hold for a coupe of years..................   i eventually got the 1210s, however this only lasted about 2 years before i finally bit the bullet and converted to a set of pioneer cdj2000's............. i have played out at a few low key gigs and private partys and feel alive with the music, so i suppose the rest is still yet to be written......   2011 : I mix with one of my closest pals Dom Amis aka dj Fr33dom ......2 x CDJ2000s and a DJM2000.............i'm mixing a lot of progressive house in my later years, it seems to be where im most happy @...............but watch this space................anything could happen....... im recently in possession of a djm2000 and just getting to grips with the unit same as DJ Fr33dom .........what a machine............:)

DJ-Darren-Hardy
DJ-Darren-Hardy

Please show your support by joining my artist page here and for more info on mixes and gigs:) https://www.facebook.com/pages/DJ-Darren-Hardy/156622821056151 Dj Darren Hardy is a versatile, Soulful House DJ. He is known for his unique style and talent for creating that memorable set. He likes to spice up his Soulful mixes by playing a selection of Funky, Deep, Disco, Jackin, Tribal, Latin and Tech House grooves. He had his first taste of mixing back in 1992 whilst spinning some tunes on a friends decks, after just a few attempts he was hooked and soon enough bought his first set of decks. From then on he experimented with various styles of dance music, predominately hardcore which was dominating the scene at the time. Drum and Bass, House and UK Garage were to follow, along with a brand new set of Technic SL1210s. In 1997 he had his first big break on landing a fortnightly Friday night resident slot at the Mirage Club, aka The House of Windsor, where he played alongside fellow DJ and friend Ryan Giorgiano at the widely established Garage UK event. In 1998 he landed a slot alongside the mighty Heartless Crew @ underground Flavours, a NYE event held @ Pyramid Studios in London. In 1999 he changed his style of music and moved on from Mirage to the legendary Manor where he played a monthly slot of Soulful House and US Garage alongside resident DJs Si Gracia and Seth Sanchez and doing warm up sets for the likes of CJ Mackintosh, Dj Disciple, Danny Rampling and Joey Negro. Sadly after just a year, in 2000 this spot ended as the Manor closed its doors for the last time. At this point he decided to take a break from professional djing, although his love of the music and desire to perform soon led him back to what he does best. In 2004 he re-established himself with his own event @ OCs nightclub in Birmingham, namely Surpassion and a residency @ Sunday Function, an after party event held @ G2 also in Brum, where he produced various live mix cds. His return to the scene also led him to encounter Mr H and The Smooth Team who were based in Reading and soon hooked him up with a regular slot @ Mangos throughout the summer of 2006 where he played a smooth blend of Soulful House in their contemporary garden area. In 2007 he teamed up with his good friend Simon B and together they became Soul Clerics. Since becoming Soul Clerics they had quite a busy schedule playing weekly on their own radio show (Soul Clerics Recovery Sessions-Logik FM) and at various different venues such as Klute, K1, Supastar Boudoir and Bar So (Bournemouth) Tonic, Sleepers and Bar Rock (Basingstoke) Mango, Fez and Face Bar (Reading) Apartment (Swindon) Square (Camberley) Niche (London) the list goes on, and also playing their two monthly resident slots at Junkclub (Southampton) and Origins-Twenty (Bournemouth). After a busy and exciting period as the Soul Clerics they both decided that they would like to go their own way and continue their djing careers as solo artists. Darren is still in popular demand and can still be found playing at venues all over the southcoast, he is now also concentrating fully on the production and releasing of his own material and with continuous djing opportunities and production shaw to follow, the future's looking good for Dj Darren Hardy.
