The Street Sounds Electro Albums were basically what kick-started my life-long love affair with music.

I have now been DJ'ing for Well over 30 years Now (Yeah Im That Old LOL) & even today I look at these
records with astonishing respect, this was the beginning for me and these records are still a huge pillar in my life...

Like a lot of kids back then I was breakin & poppin all over the streets and this was OUR soundtrack.

This stuff was mind-blowing compared to everything else, & the
experience completely turned me onto the leftfield music scenes...

From Electro to House & Hip House... to Rave... to Jungle and so on...

Before the Hip-Hop House and the Techno scenes emerged, Electro-Funk was the
catalyst for all three & the impact and influence of this pivotal
80’s underground movement would sow the seeds of the UK dance
revolution.

This Mix Showcases Many of The Tracks featured On the STREETSOUNDS ELECTRO ALBUMS & Many Many More...
So Sit Back Relax & take a Journey of Reminisce Bliss Of the Past...

This is Part 1 of a Mega Mix I Created to Enjoy for myself & I thought It would be rude not to share

So If Like me You Enjoy The Sound of Old Skool ELECTRO / HIP HOP & U Like This Mix
Then feel free to download & maybe leave some love for the DJ

Peace!

Great blast from the past - 30 years is young compared to me so I know what you mean. Streetsounds and Grandmaster Flash got me into beats, breaks, electro back in tha day. My son 'DJ Sammy Wyde' who is just 18 likes the old school sounds I play and I sometimes sneak them into the mixes these days too. Nice mix man keep em coming we love your DnB mixes too.

Nice one Shaun, got to confess I'm more into the harder electro vibe but as your great at your job you made this quite enjoyable, man there were some really old ones and in here, I remember doing body bopping to jam on revenge track lol trying to spin on my head doing the helicopter was wicked I felt so cool but failed every time either by hurting myself in the fail or kicking someone else that was watching me fail lol, that track in here that talked about throwing the mustard pot at someone proper cracked me up to, as you do in all the mixes you do, you entertain your listeners and that for me sealed the deal, great selection and as always tight blends making this mix a great listen. Massive respect as always.
