you should just mix one genre to start once you have done well with that then mixe the genres it will be a lot easier to mix but a very good tryout keep at it
got your comment thax i started when i was 17 i did what i thought was good and went on to be a good dj and was told by customers also i worked in a lot of the big clubs over here in the uk so must have been good so i was told when you get to dj in clubs you wil find that buzz of being thanked for the music you play just start on mixing trax you know rap / house /pop or what ever you want then when you have got the feel for it on those trax then be experimental to mix the styles good luck theres always room for new talent and you will be next talent just keep keeping on please let me know how yours ding and good luck
