Really going back. This is a copy of one of my earliest mix tapes (one side of the tape anyway). A little rough but I've got fond memories of this one since this tape was responsible for getting me my first club gig. Mostly stuff that was brand new at the time. Some of the artists like Deee-lite, KLF and Culture Beat went on to become hugely popular.

Mixed early 1990 in my bedroom on my old 2 channel Tandys mixer. One direct drive turntable with
no pitch control. One belt drive turntable with a wobbly platter and
rotary pitch control. Those were the days...

Good selection of records. I really love Culture Beat "I Like It" as well though I usually go for the B side mix with the Chuck D samples. This one you played has the NWA Streight outta Compton amen break (which oddly is more appropriate right now due to the NWA movie). The only serious downside to this mix is that you encoded the MP3 at 192 kbps. That's just doing the set a disservice. A 320 kbps would have been more appropriate especially since there is already fidelity loss being how this is an analog cassette tape from 1990.
