Ed Luvables was born in the mid 90’s after friends gave Ed Chapkowski the nickname based on among other things, his luvability factor. A fan of hip-hop in high school, Ed turned to what was then called “techno” as soon as he heard his first pounding kick drum at 125bpm. Moved by the sounds of breakbeats and house, he bought a set of turntables, crates of records, and hosted thousands of after-parties in Orlando after legendary club nights at the historic Club at Firestone, one of the hottest clubs in the world at the time. He became a fixture of the Orlando club scene and is now making waves as an artist, label executive, and all around influencer in the world of Electronic Dance Music, or EDM. Expect to see industry tips, blogs about the EDM scene, and music from Ed.
