Following in the theme of Gym tunes on this relatively new series of mixes, we go back to circa 70's/80's era with a little disco dance floor & then the Gym Party begins. The selection takes me back again to Disco Stu day's around Plymouth, Ivybridge & South Brent.
It's also almost like a dedication to a mate living in the Isle of Man, a flatmate who goes by the name of Neil King. We used to sing Karaoke classics on a Sunday down at the Hilton with some of these a regular. A legend locally and perhaps may appreciate the tunes. Sweet Carolineeeeeeee.
As we near the end of the selection, it's always nice for a little disco smoothy number or two for the connections to flourish on a dance floor although as this is a Gym mix, we still have a beat 🙂
My favourite has to be "Islands in the Stream" for this mix although "Higher Love", "Sweet Caroline" & "Abracadabra" are close competitors.
