To mark 20 years of the Ferris B Sessions & as a special for Privileged (Part 20), I decided to record my longest session so far & go on an old Dance Academy (DA) style rave.
Just over 3 hours & 40 minutes long, the mix takes one on a journey from how I remember the club opening at 23:00 through to around 03:00 when things started to get a little twisted.
The mix for me splits into 3 sections, opening with modern remixes of old popular DA tracks before going back to the vinyl tunes that would have been played on a banging night. The likes of Steve Fudge building up for a Rob Tissera follow on were the good old favourite style nights.
The track section from "Fiji" through to "Go" are not the typical remixes one might be frequently played either, they were all the old bootleg style remixes from back in the day!
So many favourites is difficult to pick one out, but if I had too, that CM, Dream Universe is a real cracker!
Photo album cover is from the club itself, the main entrance stairwell leading up to the main room. What a club that was! A stairway to heaven indeed :-)
Starting at 140 BPM & ending around 150 BPM, enjoy the sounds of Ferris B Sessions Privileged (Part 20).
