2012 was a great year. Concerning music. I found and rediscovered lots of fantastic tunes and artists. I had lots of fun seeing Alle Farben and AKA AKA feat. Thalstroem performing live. I had my first DJ experience in public. Parov Stelar, Caravan Palace, Tinush, AKA AKA, Thalstroem, Alle Farben… Impossible to think of 2012 without mentioning them.
I put a lot of songs into these two hours, there are just to many good ones out there. A few songs are played less than a minute, other - more "important" tracks - will run a couple of minutes. So no wondering about lots of fast cuts. And everything was sort of improvised, so don't be to harsh when critizing this mix. ;-)
If you listened to some of my other mixes you will recognize most of the tracks, most likely even the transitions, but that’s not the point. It’s about what I wrote above. And it’s honestly more like 2011 & 2012 but who cares…
