Party DJ since I was 13 mixing cassettes on my boom box! I found my way to the turntables & started buying up LP's by the case load..Cd's came along but I still loved the vinyl!!! I'd spend hours digging through Cheapo, Wide Angle, & Let It Be Records in downtown Minneapolis. While in High School the 80's synth pop music turned into Chicago House & Detroit Techno & raves starting popping up all over the city. With my hommie DJ Chris Pietz we started hitting up the rave scene with DJ's like ESP & Kevin Cole & loved the music, lights, & energy drinks. Once the drug scene mixed with the rave scene I lost my desire to mix in with that crowd & found my way into being a radio DJ at WMMR. However the music format not to mention sitting in a sound proof room talking to a wall just didn't work for me & the station would host parties all over Minneapolis & I found myself facing a crowd & not a wall. I began adding some of my rave influences into the parties with crazy lights & non-radio club music. That's been my love!!! Dance music set to an amazing light show. I'm not the DJ that wants to play requests, pop music, country, or swing. I want to play club music, mashups, & remixes you won't hear anywhwere else with lasers & cool lights mixing around the room. I still believe in the power of a disco ball...it just never gets old for me!!! I'm always searching for new music & I'm always looking for that beat or lyric that will connect with the crowd!!! That's what it's about....it's all about the music!!!
