17th June 2020 Celebrating 1000 Mixes

In all the many years or decades that I’ve been listening to
music, mainly house music there’s always one particular style or genre that I
keep going back to and that’s deep house. I don’t actually think there is a
pure form of deep house as all the genres seem to crisscross over one another.
For example, it can be jazzy…soulful…funky or just deep house. Deep house in
its many guises is probably my most favourite feeling in the world if that
makes sense, there is something, a feeling I just can’t explain, but if you
know what I mean then I’m sure you feel it too. In this 100 track mix I’m
taking you from 1992 - 2006 and I’m taking you from 115 - 130 bpm over 7 hours
37 minutes. I know I say this a lot but this is a true musical journey. There
will be some classics here and there of course, there are a few guilty
pleasures and some longer tracks too. For all you train spotters out there I’ve
included a track list. This mix is aimed at everyone and you are all welcome in
my house. So…does anyone like it deep in the house?

Before I go, I would just like to big up everyone who has
supported me over the last 6 years. So, if you’ve ever liked, shared,
downloaded, commented on or just pressed play then this mix is for you all. I
do this mainly for me, but I believe in sharing too and that’s why I share my
mixes with you. I always wanted to DJ when I was much much younger but couldn’t
afford the equipment, so I’ve had to wait a lifetime to play and mix together
the music I’m so passionate about. House music runs through my veins instead of
blood and it always will do.
