For Baseman the attraction for house music was kicked off many years ago, in 1995 at the Planet Party in the Escape theatre in Amsterdam. After that the addiction was supported by a flyer from the organisation Monumental (now known as Awakenings) a party ad a industrial location: Gashouder in Amsterdam with the Prodigy Live. He was sold! After that moment he dropped from one party to another party. The legendary NO ONE party’s! At the same night Carl Cox, Laurant Garnier , Richie Hawtin and the Dutch heroes Michel de Hey and Remy. Lots of time Baseman spent during Chemistry and the RoXy. This was the start for lots of visits to party’s clubs and festivals. After this Baseman made the step to djing. Infected and supported by his musical friends he developed a large musical taste. From Detroit techno to soulful house or deep house. When there is a groove.... In his dj sets he plays deep house, soulful house, jackin and club. He can go deep down under or lift it up. Quality vocals are always welcome in his musical journey. Baseman likes the funky rhythms and phat and funky baselines. His power in djing is to combine different styles and rhythms. Baseman’s personal task is to set up the good mood and bringing the positive feeling.
