A true #1 STUNNA!!!!!!
Opening track.... - SLICK production. As soon as I heard the male vocal croon I recognized the sample. Smokey Robinson, "Being with you 1981 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P2a6aLDkkM ." 1:45 mark - PULSATING lightsaber SHREDS!!!!!!!!!! 6:05 - Solid. This has that classic, metallic (hollowed) d&b sound. 9:05 - @Radar & Liis - Sigh (Bliss)....I was waiting for this stanza from you two. HOT SPARK SHREDS. You don't expect the (style) turn after the striking male vocals. 13:05 - VIBRANT synth with acid drops. http://blog.lumens.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/torafu.jpg - 18:05 - BANG ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Female vocal loop, "Yeah" ROLLING BASSLINE \\0// \\0//!!!!!!!!!!!!! 19:10 - RATTLING Legos in a sock (rattle percussion sound). 21:05 - Baby oil FLUID TRANSITION. Female vocal echo, "Every minute," BASSLINE REVERBERANCE. 25:20 - Choppy drums, Low decibel BASS DROP. 29:05 - Slick mixing. Decreased tempo, Suffren nuclear submarine BASSLINE, and sonority. 32:40 - AGGRAVATED. 36:05 - Whoosh....introspective indeed. Lovely piano, the shreds add that dab of despondency. Notice the multiple male vocal hook, "Check" from Adam F's classic "Circles 1997." 45:05 - OUSTANDING mixing. Female croon, ballroom piano....just waiting for company. 50:15 - Robotic WARFARE action sequence, SWINGIN' CADENCE. https://i.imgur.com/rCgtHIP.jpg - 56:15 - Coda. Male vocal hook, mint pacing, descending into those caverns.
- Strap in and ride it out Headz. You can't help but to notice the first-rate MIXING. You liquid d&b fans that have listened to Radar and Liis' collaborations with me over the years know of their cohesive styles. The emotional alchemy of self-examination, struggles, and thoughtfulness are always transparent in their track selections. To me, they always emotionally relate with the listener. They tell the listener that they have felt or are feeling the same way. Think about it, they individually choose their own tracks, but why do we feel the same way? (1 hr 3 mins)
