Audio Perversion is the alias of Scottish DJ & Producer Tommy Fraser. Known for his unmistakeable and addicting brand of Techno, Tommy has been a key figure in the Aberdeen & Scottish underground music scene for more years than most. Alongside crafting and evolving his sound as a performer, Tommy has been working with fellow Aberdeen producer Jamie ‘Kaeva’ Robertson, to hold some of the most infamous parties in the country as Co-Founder and Director of TLF Events. Tommy began spinning vinyl in the mid-nineties, embracing many forms of underground music and perfecting his own take on mixing. Since the early 2000’s he has played and held residencies at almost every notable underground club in his city, slowly becoming one of the most experienced and respected party starters going. In recent years, drawing on the influences of legends Dave Clarke, Edit Select, Mark Broom, Billy Nasty, Jeff Mills, and James Ruskin – Tommy has embraced Techno and settled into the genre he identifies with the most, creating the Audio Perversion project. Under the Audio Perversion moniker and with his residency at TLF, Tommy has supported & played alongside the likes of Billy Nasty, Gary Beck, Dustin Zahn, Edit Select, Tommy Four Seven, Hans Bouffmyhre, Mark Broom, Matador, and for TLF White with Tech House giants Pleasurekraft, Bontan, and Stefano Noferini. 2013 saw the first Audio Perversion release on Cubek Records with his track ‘Crypric’. With more releases on Cubek scheduled for 2014 and also future projects on Bageera’s Red October imprint, Audio perversion shows no signs of slowing down. Decided to start something interesting here, DJ Linxxx. :) I wil be trying to post weekly mixes through this page for everybody to enjoy. I started this small project as a hobby and the love for EDM. Mainly influenced by the rock band Linkin Park, DJ Linxxx and his mixes share a "links" theme that sound unique and different. The mixes, The Missing Link, are the main source for DJ Linxxx to express his passion for the EDM movement as his dream is to expand this movement while walking a thin line and not sell out as many DJs have. AS MY FATHER USED TO BE A DRUMMER ! I DISCOVERED MY LOVE TO THE MUSIC IN MY URLY AGES. WITH 12 YEARS I STARTED TO DO MI FIRST MIX TAPES'S AND 2 YEAR LATER I DID SPIN MY FIRST TIME IN A LOCAL CLUB IN OUR VILLAGE BECAUSE OF MY JOB I HAD TO STEP BACK WITH THE MUSIC .... FIEW YEARS LATER I RESTARTED WITH DJ'ING AND DID BUILD UP MY OWN HOME STUDIO. FROM TIME TO TIME I USED TO PLAY IN SOME LOCAL CLUBS ARROUND ZÜRICH, BUT I NEVER DID IT PROFESSIONAL, IT WAS ALWAYS A HOBBY AND LOVE TO THE MUSIC FOR ME. 2 YEARS AGO I COMPLETLY RESTARTED WITH THE MUSIC AND KEEP PUSHING IT IN ALL WAYS AND DIRECTIONS .....

After serving ten long hard years in the British army I managed to fall right into the middle of what was known as the underground rave scene in 1992.A very good friend of mine introduced me to Martin P who was running a very large drum and bass night at the( Rivermead Sports Centre) holding up to six thousand ravers in Reading.This production was called (Swing Big Time Promotions )held nights such as Red October One and Two hosting very big names such as DJ Carl Cox, Grooverider, MickyFinn, Sl2, Randall, Ltj Bookham etc - to be honest the list is to long to mention. I got to meet and speak with these gods and they inspired me to become a DJ . After mastering the tools required, I was signed to an agency who provide DJ’s for well-known outdoor events.The first production I was involved with was the fabulous (Universe Productions )who had hosted the many great outdoor rave scene involving up to twenty thousand people having the best time known to man dancing through to the end of the weekend every week. Universe then moved on up in the scene and founded in what I think was the best club night ever.And yes, not unless you have guessed, the Famous( Club UK )in Wandsworth, London. DJ’s were queuing to get into this Venue to play along side myself ,Trevor rockliffe, Gailsan, Brenda Russell, Colin Favour, Carl Cox, Mark EG, Colin Dale, Billy Nasty, Alien Trax ,(Paul Curtis and Max Amino) ,Lab 4, Pendragon (Beamish,oboren) . After the closure of (CLUB UK) (in fact the Police closed down!) I left to move to sunny Bournemouth to get involved in the club scene by the sea.Well what a shock! It wasn’t just London HAVING IT - it was every were I went! During my long stay in Bournemouth I was invited to host a two hour show on( KFM 106.7) which I did for a year, playing in most of the venues up to as far as the (country club )in Yeovil. During my long stay I had the pleasure working alongside Bob Povey, Si and Seth Sanjez, Martin the Hat, Chris Hare and Northern Roy, Mark EG, Billy Nasty,and Tony devits little haunt club(Sub bass vip.)After leaving Bournemouth I ended in north Devon playing for the very best (LEGENDS Productions), providing superb club nights in Bideford, Westward HO and Barnstable,And outdoor events especially the Eclipse moon party. I would like to thank all the DJ’s who played for( Legends )John OO Fleming, The Great Tony Devit, Billy Nasty, Mark EG, Chris Liberator and Trevor Rockliffe,and Lisa pin up. MASSIVE thanks to Paul,and Nigel,for Providing a massive scene for the west country. After leaving Devon I moved to Hampshire were I opened my own record shop with my son Adam aka Buzzbee.( Fat Boy records) , I had a very good time running the shop but still missed the hard paced life I had lived. The love of music has never died in me and now at the age of forty three I am learning the production side and making my own sounds so now this is a closure of an old venture into a new one - the rebirth of( FATBOYUK.)

I first started djing around about 12 years ago when i was 17. It was by chance i knew a dj in a bar and one week he asked me if i could do his set for him as he couldnt make it and gave me a brief lesson on what to do and from there i was hooked. I started getting sets playing hip hop and garage in Doncaster and sheffield and then discovered speed garage in 2001 and then started playing that. During that time myself and 2 others started a label called Gridlockd Records which became one of the biggest labels in the scene in a very short time as we were the only label making original tracks. Fast forward 12 years and in that time i played the first bassline set on bbc 1xtra, put together a compilation for ministry of sound (Maximum bass 2007) And had tracks signed to mos and all around the world (Universal). I decided in 2008 that i wasnt gonna pidgeonhole myself to one genre and went self employed as a dj and tutor. Around that time i got my own show on local legal radio station sine fm and my weekend vibes show did so well they moved me from 2-3 sat afternoon to 6-8 saturday night the show before dj legend graeme park. Nowadays i do a show called the history of Dance music on sine fm 102.6fm in Doncaster or www.sinefm.com worldwide every tuesday evening 8pm-10pm.
