Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! Born & raised in small but beautifull Belgium, Greengo is a Tech-house/Techno DJ with an unconditional love & passion for the music. He started listening & loving various kinds of electronic music at the age of 12, but lingered to the more harder styles at first. At the age of 18 when he bought his first mixer & turntables he was still into the techno & hardtechno scene but progressed to a more techy house- & soulful style. As he grew older his taste for music continued to evolve into something that's sensitive to warm, sexy, emotional tech-house sounds, tribe/latin samples & iberican tunes yet still in line with some pumping techno grooves or even some deephouse tracks . His style compiles house, tech-house, deephouse, minimal, techno, tribal, funk & latin house in emotive, intuitive & innovative sets with hights & depts that just pulls you to the dancefloor. He only played on some small gigs & private-party's cause for him it's just a hobby and always considered himself as an "attic"-DJ, but after much advice & pushin' from friends & partypeople he's working hard, trying to bring his sound to everyone else. It was below and before speech, and it is above and beyond all words********** Without music life would be a mistake ♫ My grandfather was an amazing musician and influenced my love for music from my early years on. I started DJing at the age of 18, when my mother asked me if I want a driving licence for my birthday or a record player - I decided for the record player ☺ My idols were and are Todd Terry, Westbam, Gary D., Paul Oakenfold, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Matthias Heilbronn and many others. I spinned "live" at a few parties and at some clubs. I love all types of music, so I spinned "Salsa and Merengue" for a few years too - love the Latin vibe. My style depends on my daily mood ;)) House-Mixes is a great site to share our passion for music...keep the vibe alive ☺
