Hey fellow ravers
I'm a self confessed raver with a needy appetite for anything funky, fidgety or just plane hard..
Been involved with techno since 1994 when i first started attending underground raves in jhb.. The industry has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm sure that back then it wasn't expected to last this long. I'm always glad to see just how many successfull dj's there are here on house mixes and value all the effort that goes into producing these masterpieces !!!!
Attempted mixing myself back in 96 - 97 but fate and lack of money and a "small stretch" in prison put an end to that. I'm just glad that there are more talented and excellent dj's popping up out there. Until I'm too old to walk I'm gonna stay on this genre of music.
My other passion in music is completely the opposite !! I have had the great fortune to see Metallica, Panthera, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse and Red hot chillies live over the last 15 years which are all still part of me.... What a mix up... Suppose could blame it on all the acid and E over my 10years of addction... Clean now, married and happy - isn't that what its all about !!
