Description mix
Back in 2005 the remakes of old classics were very popular and at the end of 2005 I decided to create a Yearmix with the most popular remakes issued in that year.

Some remakes used the original versions of tracks and remixed them, but most remakes used new vocals, some re-recorded by the original artist(s) but most of them used vocals by (new) unknown studio artists because of copyright issues. You can check out the playlist to see if the real artists vocals were used (then it's a remix) or if new studio vocals were used (then it's a remake) by the name of the artist, that is, if you know who sang/performed the original track.

Examples:
- You're The Only One (Radio Edit) by Dave Kurtis feat. Jennifer Rush features the original vocals by Jennifer Rush
- Colour My Love by Ice Fran vs Fun Fun features the original recording of Fun Fun
- Africa (Club Caviar Radio Edit) by Cryzp is a remake, original vocals/song is by Toto
- Bad Girls (Radio Edit) by Marilyn is a remake, original vocals/song is by Donna Summer

I put the best remakes and remixes that I heard on the radio in 2005 in this 2005 Yearmix. This is the BroadCast Edit. The FullVersion (approx. 79 minutes) contains the same songs, only several tracks are a bit longer.
